Mr. Arif Azim, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Industry and Production, led the Pakistani Delegation at the recently held UNIDO General Conference in Vienna.
He also delivered a speech in the plenary session on 2nd December, 2015, in which he praised UNIDO’s contribution in supporting the economic development of the Country.
In his speech, Mr. Azim expressed the Country’s gratitude to UNIDO for implementing the EU-funded Trade Related Technical Assistance (TRTA) Programmes for more than ten years, which have resulted in international recognition for the Pakistani quality infrastructure, and opened its doors to global markets.
