Agribusiness Development and Diversification Project
Agribusiness Development and Diversification Project is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock , Government of Pakistan and the Asian Development Bank. Launched in 2005, the Project aims at enhancing economic growth and fostering employment generation through development of a competitive and sustainable agribusiness sector. Initially focusing on horticulture and livestock and dairy sub-sectors, Project interventions would result in increased productivity, improved product quality, and value addition by addressing constraints throughout the product value chain from production to markets. The Project strategies are comprehensive and systemic and based on international best practices, designed to minimize market and institutional failures and rigidities.

Agriculture & Livestock Department, Govt of NWFP
Ministry’s functions are to look after the overall development of Agriculture Sector, including Livestock as a sub-sector for increasing productivity thereof. To formulate polices/programs in connection with aforesaid objectives and to ensure their implementation through the attached departments/agencies. To exercise administrative and financial control over the affairs of the attached departments/agencies.

All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA)
All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) is the premier national trade association of the textile spinning, weaving, and composite mills representing the organized sector in Pakistan. APTMA emerges as the largest association of the country as it represents 396 textile mills out of which 315 are spinning, 44 weaving and 37 composite units. These spinning mills have production facilities of texturing, mercerizing and dyeing of yarns; weaving mills have sizeable number of air-jet looms, and the composite mills have manufacturing facilities from spinning to finished textile products under one roof. The total installed capacity of APTMA member mills accounts for 9,661,366 spindles, 61,608 rotors, 10,452 Shuttle less/Airnet Looms and 1897 conventional looms.
