On 7th October, 2015 the Trade Related Technical Assistance II Programme will be hosting a seminar on the current status of the EU GSP Plus regime and implementation in Pakistan. Pakistani exporters have not been able to take full advantage of the GSP Plus facility due to a number of reasons. This seminar is intended to discuss just these issues and challenges and also see how trade volumes with the EU can be enhanced. High potential items from Pakistan include knitted and woven readymade garments, surgical instruments, footwear and leather goods.
The seminar will take place at the Marriott Hotel where technical experts will give presentations and speeches. The seminar will be attended by the EU Ambassador to Pakistan and the Chief Guest will be Minister of Commerce, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan, who will also present the keynote address.
